Cheshire Symphony Orchestra

All prospective musicians should contact the Music Director concerning available positions. Good string players are always in demand by volunteer orchestras and CSO is no exception. Our brass, woodwind and percussion sections tend to be more stable, however openings do occasionally occur.

 

Before joining, we ask two things of all our musicians:

 

1. Be diligent about coming to rehearsals (Monday evenings, 7:15-9:15). When you join, our expectation is that you will make every effort to come to all rehearsals. We’re interested in having musicians who really enjoy making music and who want to be at rehearsals, not just concerts.

2. We do ask all musicians to make an annual, tax-deductible

contribution ($100 dues) to the orchestra in order to help keep the financial wheels turning. Dues are lowered or waived for any musician who would find it financially difficult.
