Parker performs in the Greater New Haven Youth Wind Ensemble, the Latin Jazz Ensemble, and the Rhythm Kings Ensemble at NMS. He also plays drums under the direction of Jesse Hameen II.

Parker’s numerous extra-curricular activities include the Junior Board of the Friends of Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital, lower school mentoring, Hamden Hall Math Team, the Guilford Town Band, as well as various summer medical internships and study programs.  Over the years, Parker has had the honor and the privilege of working with several legendary saxophone faculty:  Gary Louie of the Johns Hopkins Peabody Institute, Chien-Kwan Lin of the Eastman School of Music, Taimur Sullivan of Northwestern University, and Brian Utley of Vanderbilt University.  Parker is excited about the opportunity to perform with the Cheshire Symphony Orchestra and looks forward to further exploring his passion for saxophone during the rest of his high school career and beyond.
